Cotton Monsters Invade ETSY 3/27/08

While I work out getting new software for the Cotton Monster Shop (and learning how to use it) I've set up an ETSY shop, so people can still get their Cotton Monster fix in the mean time!

I'll be putting up small batches of new monsters NOW through March keep checking back!

Paper Cut!

I recently completed this cut paper artwork that will be auctioned off at a sure-to-be amazing fundraiser for Nana Projects, one of my absolute favorite local organizations. Paper Cut! is happening Friday, April 4th at 8pm in the gorgeous 2640/Saint John's Church here in Baltimore's own Charles Village. Along with the cut paper art auction, there will be music, stilt walkers, food, drinks, and most importantly, Nana projects will perform their most recent Magic Lantern Show! Not to be missed!

Baltimore Magazine hearts Cotton Monster

Cotton Monster is featured in BALTIMORE magazine's NEW March 2008 issue in the Upfront Shopping section (page 84). A few Cotton Monsters even got to go on a little photo shoot to the Baltimore mag. headquarters! Click on the text to enlarge, if you'd like to read it. It's lovely to be appreciated by my home town press and feels so good to have a glossy picture of Cotton Monsters in print, even if they do compare me to Ugly Dolls!

We're Baaaack

Well, my best guy and two little Cotton Monsters traveled with me all the way to San Francisco this past week for a mini break from our daily lives. It was amazing...sunny and warm every day, lots of nice people, inspiring art, the ocean, every ethnicity of food wherever we went, and the best dear Gretta (pictured above)! Here are a few more pictures of our travels....
