Need monsters now?
Live in Baltimore?
Mud & Metal, a great store in Hampden, is now stocked with big and baby monsters.
(including these two seen here)
They recently moved to a new location, on 36th street still, just on the other side of the avenue (near falls road) !! Horray!

I just wanted to thank everyone who stopped in the booth, and to everyone who adopted a monster that day. The response was awsome, and the emails requesting more monsters has been overwhelming! Right now I'm frantically trying to bear new babies, big monsters, bottomfeeders and pentapods to statisfy the world's monster need, and will do my best to have the site updated before october's end.
If you want to be updated when the
new monsters are available,
be sure to sign up for the newsletter.
THANKS AGAIN to everyone in DC !
I hope to be there again next year!

Well I haven't been posting much because this big new eight-eyed, six tentacled monster has been sitting on me most of the month. Its true, and he's really heavy.
Also, I've been attempting to sew most of my days and not be glued to my computer...so that eventually I will have a well stocked online store and have enough baby monsters to satisfy Washington DC for the Crafty Bastards Festival! Check it out http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/craftybastards/ and you can view all the awsome vendors that will be attending.
Im aiming for a store update next week sometime (I'll probably do it during the day this time)
If you are on our newsletter list, you'll be the first to know! THANKS for waiting!

To celebrate the arrival of her new pentopod, on a lovely day, a lovely lady
(who has adopted many a monster....)
had a tea party in the park. And oh! what fun they had!

More innocents are being eaten alive by Bottomfeeder monsters everyday. Luckily they usually come out of it unharmed....
There will be more bottomfeeders up for adoption,
along with babies, big monsters, and a brand new tentacled breed, on or before August 1. Those of you who sign up for the monster newsletter will be the first to know!

....making giant inflatable monsters for Baltimore's yearly arts festival, Artscape!
These are the biggest monsters yet, they are made of nylon fabrics (the green one is made of an old army parachute) and inflated by super powered blower fans.
If you are in Baltimore, come out this friday evening July 14 to check out the beasts on their opening night by MICA's Brown Center....or stop by and see them during Artscape, July 21-23 near the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Visit http://artscape.org/ for more info on the festivities!!

Don't forget to include your monster in all the festivities!
But you may want to hide your flags if you don't want them eaten.
Two very loving and proud monster parents just sent me these picks from their vacation, and I have to say, Ms. Rosalita Chiquita Appletina looks to be having about the best time an american monster could have on her summer break.
THanks So much for sharing the love. chomp chomp slurp crunch.

Monster's love donuts!!
While at the Art Star Craft Bazaar this past weekend in Philadelphia, monsters mingled with soft & cuddly cake slices and moldy toast made by My Paper Crane. visit http://mypapercrane.com/ to see more of her goodies! There were tons of other great arts and crafts at the philly fest, and lots of monsters found good homes.
Im working on updating the online store site right now, and the new monsters will be up for sale tomorrow (tuesday)morning/afternoon. Horray!!
